Sorry to hear the bad news. I knew Ham as part of Sound Spectrum, playing alongside him, Dave and my brother. He always knew how to spring a joke on us if we got too serious. Had a great time back in high school. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

I would like to thank Ham publicly for his friendship, but especially for bringing my love of music to a new level. In high school, he invited me to play trumpet in his band, which started a 35+ year career of performing for others (and many of those years were spent writing, practicing, and performing next to Ham). What a gift he gave me. I will be eternally grateful. May God bless Ham and his family.
P.S. Ham, save me a spot in your next band.

To Dana, Hamilton, Elsie and Mrs. Brown, I was so sad to learn about your Hamilton's passing. He spoke lovingly to me about all of you and about Ashley and little Punker. He was a kind loving man. I will miss him terribly as well. My prayers are with you all.

I was so saddened to hear about Ham this morning. I live out of state in PA and have not been in touch for 20 years with most of my New Beginnings bandmates, Ham, Danny, Dave, Ronnie, John and Jimmy but think of them often. Ham was instrumental to the success of the band with his musical and vocal talent. I send my prayers and heartfelt sympathy to Elsie and the kids. Rest in peace my friend, I know you will be be "taking care of business" in God's Kingdom.

I just learned about the tragic death of my good friend and band member Ham. I live out of state in PA and was unaware of the events of last week. I am so saddened by this news. I was in the New Beginnings Band with Ham, Danny, Ron, John and Dave. He was instumental in the success of the band with his musical and vocal talents. Even though I don't see my former band members, I miss them and I will miss you Ham. It has been well over 20 years since I have seen Ham and Elsie & kids. My prayers are with Ham's family but I know Ham is "taking care of business" in God's Kingdom. Rest in Peace my friend.

Elsie and Family: We just heard the news last night. My parents, Ron and Joanne George are so upset that we all missed the services yesterday. Ham was a big part of our family. Playing with my father in the band "The New Beginnings." They made beautiful music together. As a young kid, I always admired your marriage. The love you all had for each other and your family was so grand. We are all so very sorry for your loss. I am sure in days to come you will hear from my parents. Please reach out during this time of need. You have many who loved Ham, and your family. Sending you hugs from the George/DeLia & Carr Family, Rob, Michelle, JoAnna-Faye, Hunter, Melinda, Brooke, Amanda, RJ, Rebecca, Hailey, Gianna-Rose, Ron and Joanne George.

Although I didn't know Hamilton, I do know the pain and sorrow death brings to families. And from the many visitors on his guestbook, I can tell he was a remarkable person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, please pray to "the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort" and ask Him to bring a measure of comfort to you and your family as you grieve. The Bible assures us God is healing the broken hearted ones and is binding up their painful spot. I have personally found this to be so true. With sincere sympathy,

My family and I wish to extend our sincerest condolences to Ham's family and friends during this time of loss and sorrow.
I was privileged to know Ham for 40 years. I first met him in 1971 when he and my brother David, both Mount Pleasant alums, started playing music together as members of The Sound Spectrum. Over the years, David and I played together with Ham in a number of different groups, and we will greatly miss him both as a friend and a talented fellow musician.
Rest in peace.

I knew Ham through playing in a band with him a long time ago. A great guitar player. He was also in our wedding as an usher and a very good friend. One time him and I spent a weekend down at the beach and went for a long run in our bare feet on the beach. We woke up the next day with shin splints and could barely walk.
We are sorry for your loss.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to all the families and that God will watch over you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Evans Family. Dana and I were the best of friends in high school, and I was always over their house, and Mr. Evans was always the father I didn't have. He was always so nice and caring when I would go over. I remember having dinner over lots of nights, and he would always make jokes about something I said or did. I loved going to see him and the band play at hunters den, and just having a blast! He will be missed deeply, and never forgotten.

It is with a sorrow in our heart that has brought us here,
And a thankful heart to know in his life we shared.
The memories, the love, the joy he shared:
To his mother, he'll always be her son.
her memories of his childhood she will hold dear.
To his sister, their childhood memories- he'll always be her best friend.
To his children, he'll always be dad and they'll always cherish the memories they have of him.
To his grandchild who'll not understand-why he had to miss out on getting to know this wonderful man.
To the love of his life-your memories of him will be cherished.
To the rest of the family, his laughter, his joy of music, his personality, his presents we'll miss.
It is with deep regret we'll not be able to be there. Please, know our love and prayers are with all of you as the days move on. We love you and God Bless.
