Stephen J. MacDowell, age 42, of Bear, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Stephen had a heart of laughter and shared it with everyone he knew. MacDowell; his niece, Morgan; and grandmother, June Embert.

Services and burial will be private. The family suggests contributions to FSR, Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, 122 South Michigan Avenue, Ste. 1700, Chicago, IL 60603.

My heart and pain are shared with Macs family. He was a great friend and co-worker. Our favorite restaurant would have to be "EAT", otherwise known as Jose Border Cafe. Mac will be sorely missed by me. I hope that his family finds great peace during these sad times, knowing that Stephen is sharing his laughter and love with those in Heaven. RIP my friend.
