Kenneth DeMarco Obituary
Kenneth Nicholas DeMarco Jr., 22, of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011.
Born in Wilmington on June 4, 1989, Kenny was a graduate of St. John the Beloved Grade School and attended Delcastle Technical High School before making Ocean Isle Beach his home. He most recently graduated from police officer training in North Carolina with the dream of joining the Wilmington, North Carolina Sheriff's Office. Kenny was an avid surfer and enjoyed working on a variety of mechanical projects with his dad. His warm and infectious smile will be missed by all.
Kenny will be lovingly remembered by his father, Kenneth N. DeMarco, Sr. and his wife, Mary; his mother, Elizabeth Amber Russell; his brothers, Anthony and Nicholas DeMarco; his sisters, Tara Evans and Madison DeMarco; his grandparents, Ronald and Annette DeMarco, and Dick and Kanyawara Russell; his uncle and aunt (godparents) Ron and Deborah DeMarco; and his cousins, Alayna and Joey DeMarco.
Friends may visit with the family at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Saturday, August 20 from 11:30 am to 12 noon. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kenny may be made to St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19805, or NAMI Delaware, 2400 W. 4th Street, Wilmington, DE 19805.
