Donald Criscuolo Obituary
Age 71 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on October 14, 2013 in Belgrade, Serbia after a sudden illness while traveling on holiday. He was born in Derby, CT, to the late Gabriel and Violet Criscuolo, and made his home in Wilmington, DE.
Donald retired from E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. After a successful 37 year career, he worked as a Financial Advisor at First Senior Financial Group. Donald also retired as a Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He loved travel, friends, automobiles, and above all, family.
A loving father and devoted companion, Donald is survived by his life partner of 21 years, Marianne Layng of Wilmington, DE; as well as their children, Brian Criscuolo (Amy) of Greensboro, NC; Barry Criscuolo (Linda) of Avondale, PA; Ken Layng (Megan) of State College, PA; Robert Layng (Michaele) of the Republic of Tanzania, Africa; and their 10 grandchildren; Massimo, Pietro, Paolo, Matthew, Jake, Jeffrey, Rebecca, Stephen, Annalise and Harper. Donald was preceded in death by his brother Peter Criscuolo of Grafton, VA. He is survived by his brothers, Richard Criscuolo of Southbury, CT, Dennis Criscuolo of Germantown, TN, and Gary Criscuolo of Derby, CT.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday October 22, 2013 from 6-8:00 pm at the MCCRERY & HARRA FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike (Rt. 202 South of Silverside Road) Wilmington, DE 19803. A service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

What a special cousin I had. Donald was always there to greet you with a big hug and kiss. You could find him at every Imbimbo reunion helping at the BBQ grill. His gentle soul and spirit will be missed. We are all better people for having had Donald in our lives. We love you, Donald.
