To the Palmer Family, Patty, Alan, and Steven. To Marge and all the grandchildren, I hope that you all can share the life lessons that Al imparted over the years.

I worked with Al at Summer Camp for 13 years. His nature area was always crowded with eager campers, anxious to see what new repiles, and other creatures were brought to camp on a daily basis.

Al was a friend, confidant, advisor and mentor to any adult or child that needed his attention.

Al will be missed.

Thoughts and Prayers to the Palmer Family and friends during these difficult times. I had Mr Palmer at Widener for a summer session science course: what a great experience learn so much in such a short period of time. Mr Palmer made me love science as I see on all the other tributes. God Bless and keep all that have those wonderful memories of Mr Palmer.

I was Mr. Palmer's student in the 1980s, and I'll never forget his passion for science and his sense of humor. I remember hims once waxing enthusiastic about cemetaries because of "all those dated rock samples!" His passing is such a loss to the school and the community.

Mr. Palmer was my Earth Science teacher in 9th grade at Springton Lake 1976-1977, and was the advisor for the Springton TV Studio. He always put in extra effort to both enrich our educational experiences and put up with our nonsense. He will be greatly missed.

Aunt Marge

Im sorry for your loss. I will always remember all of Uncle Al's stories about his fishing trips or how and where he found the new addition to his reptile collection. But most of all I will remember his great cooking.
I am proud to have called him my uncle.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love

Mr. Palmer was my Science teacher at PHS. I remember being a little afraid of him at first because he was so tall and a man of few words. I quickly realized he had a terrific sense of humor and a patient teacher. I never asked to leave class because I couldn't carry the hall pass (a 35lb. River Rock)! :)
A wonderful man.., so sorry for your loss.
