I first met Betty in 1974 when she interviewed me for my position at the GMP Union. I was just 18 at the time and I remember saying "When I get older, I want to be like Betty". Betty was such an inspiration the way her life was always an adventure, whether it was traveling around the world or riding around Newtown Square in her red convertible. She never had a bad word to say about anyone nor could anyone ever have anything negative to say about her. I can't say enough about what a sweet, kind, generous and inspirational person Betty was. She truly loved her children, grandchildren and all her family. My thoughts and prayers will be with her family,

I'll never forget Betty from the day she hired me until the day we retired, all forty plus years. Betty always made time to keep in touch with her friends and co-workers and we always enjoyed her company as well. Prayers and thoughts are with her family.
