I first met Betty in 1974 when she interviewed me for my position at the GMP Union. I was just 18 at the time and I remember saying "When I get older, I want to be like Betty". Betty was such an inspiration the way her life was always an adventure, whether it was traveling around the world or riding around Newtown Square in her red convertible.
