I knew this brother very well, was just talking to by best friend an hour ago and he was telling me Lawson was called home to be with the Lord. We grew up on the east side, I remember late summer nights 2on2 and 3on3 basketball games at Pulaski play ground across from the Chester East Little League field. When it came to talking or debating about sport topics Lawson was the Sonny Hill, Chris Berman, Howard Eskin, and Ike Reese all wrapped up in one. The brother had a heart of gold. R.I.P Lawson

Lawson Miller, I just cannot believe it! It is with great shock and sadness that I came across this obituary stating Lawson had passed.I am so saddened by your loss. I attended Kutztown with Lawson and he was the BEST! One of the most personable and fun loving people one would ever meet. Before Snoop Dog had "forshizzle, etc", Lawson had his own rap.I can still hear him calling out across the DMZ. I pray that you have found comfort in the Lord and rest assured that you will see that beautiful face one day! Remember earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal! God Bless you all and may Lawson forever live in your hearts. See you later Bro, you were the Best!

Dear Miller Family,

Our prayers are with you during your time of loss. Lawson surely will be missed. His wide bright smile and bubbly personality lit up every room he entered. A good football player and great person.

May God hold you up and give you peace and comfort especially over this holiday season. When you reflect on the good days with Lawson, tears will dry up and the pain, although still present, will get a little easier to bear.

On behalf of CHS Class of 1979, may God's Blessings be with you always and give you peace and comfort today and forever.

As I extend my condolences to the Miller family in this time of sadness, let us not forget the memories that were given to us all in his life with us. How boring the CHS Class of '79 would have been without his humor and infectious smile.

Peace and Blessings...

Reside in his presence Lawson. God bless the family.

December 3, 2010

Dear Miller Family,
My heart aches, and prayers soar out for you. I remember Lawson from our days at CHS. I remember him playing football, and I have a vague memory of him being in the band, or hanging around the band room alot. My fondest memory is that Lawson was always a cheerful and fun person.

May God wrap his loving arms around you - his wife, children, mother and siblings. May His wisdom comfort you. When the tears flow, remember Lawson's cheerful smile, look up and smile back, even through the pain that never goes away, but just gets a little easier to bear (and hold in) as time goes by. Lawson is your gaurdian Angel now, watching over you from afar.

May Peace and God's Blessings be with you always. - CHS c/o 80

On behalf of Region 11 CYO Athletics, We want to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Lawson Miller.
Over the past ten years or so we have had the opportunity to work with Lawson though youth sports. Lawson’s dedication and enthusiasm to the children he coached was easily identified. We are sure Our Lord recognized his work with our children and will give him a spot on the bench.
Our prayers are with you,

To Lawsons wife and children, you have lost a great man. Please know Lawson was so very proud of each and every one of you.

Lawson spent so many years helping kids and impacting countless lives, he cared about people every day, especially his family, and the kids at SMV who he held so close to his heart.

We should all seek to help as many people in our lifetime as my dear friend did.

I spent many hours over the last half dozen years coaching kids with Lawson. Our community and the kids of the world who need help, will surely miss him.

Rest in peace my dear friend...

I thank the Lord for the memories and for allowing me to know a good brother and teammate. Never forget the goal line stand at Interboro in which Lawson lead the defensive line in 1979. We won the del-val championship for the first time in 40 years. Good Job my brother, now rest from your labor and receive your rewards. Clarence Smith 80'
