Joseph McLane Obituary

Joseph A. McLane, 76 Of Media, PA. Joseph A. McLane, 76, on November, 20, 2012. Born in Philadelphia in 1936, he grew up in S.W. Philadelphia, in Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, was a 1954 graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys and a 1958 graduate of Villanova University. He operated his own business as a Public Adjuster. Joseph had a passion for horseracing. He enjoyed boating, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family. He was an extremely loyal person who liked to have fun and lived by the mantra "Gotta laugh every day!" Joseph was the former husband of Carol McLane; brother of the late Francis McLane. Survivors: Dear father of Joseph E. (Barbara) McLane, Carolyn J. (Stephen) Cloetingh and Jenifer S. (Art) Condodina; grandfather of Matthew, Kristina, Andrew, Kevin, Anne, Cara and Lily; brother of George McLane and Colette (John) Dolan ; also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday 9:30 to 11 AM, Church of St. Mary Magdelan, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA 19063. Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. Arr: The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA, 610-353-6300. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 225 City Avenue, Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.

I am devastated to say the least. I have been trying to get a hold of you for a couple weeks now and thought you might be in the hospital. I cant believe you are gone. You have been a good friend to me and I will miss you dearly!!!! God bless your family.
