James T. Dolan Sr.

James T. Dolan, Sr., age 89 James T. Dolan, Sr., age 89, died peacefully November 6, 2013 at his home in Boothwyn surrounded by his family. James was born, raised, and educated in Chester. He graduated from St. James High School I 1943 and attended Pennsylvania Military Academy. He was also a resident of Collingdale for more than 48 years and the past 10 years he was a resident of Boothwyn. Jim was employed by the Ford Motor Co. in Chester as an Industrial Engineer for many years and he also worked for the United States Post Office at 30th St. Station in Philadelphia retiring in 1989. Jim served in the United Stated Navy during WWII. James was a member of St. John Fisher Church, Boothwyn. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was the son of the late Joseph and Frances (McDivitt) Dolan. Brother of the late Frances Belak, Sister Marie St. William and John Dolan. Husband of the late Ida Dolan who died in 2006. Survivors: His loving children Carol Lander (Chuck Brooks), James Jr. (Barbara), and Thomas (Natilia) Dolan. Grandchildren Gerald, Keith, Jeffrey, and Victor Dolan. Great Grandchildren Kevin, Michael, Colella, Emma Rose, and Lily. Brother Joseph Dolan. Funeral Mass: Monday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn. Visitation: Monday, from 9-9:45a.m. at the church. Burial: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
