Thomas Germanovich Obituary
Born in Upper Darby, PA, to the late George and Helen (nee Starecky) Germanovich, Tom was a beloved husband, devoted father, loving grandfather, son-in-law, uncle and friend.
Thomas worked for the U.S. Post Office in Wayne, PA, as a mail carrier for 32 years. Tom will be remembered as the funny man who loved golfing, walking his dogs and was tremendously devoted to his family, both immediate and impressive extended family.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Patti (nee Mellon) Germanovich; five children, Monika Germanovich- Smythe (Tony), Thomas Germanovich, Jr. (Devon), Mark Germanovich (Sarah), Erik Germanovich (Stephanie) and Karl Germanovich; four beautiful grandchildren, Dominic and Isabella Smythe and Dimitri and Nina Germanovich, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 5-8 p.m., O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064.
There will be another Viewing, Wednesday February 25, 2015, at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, South Ave., Secane, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Basser Research Center for BRCA-Revolutionizing BRCA1 and BRCA2 Research - Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, 3400 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104

I was so sorry to read about Tom's passing. I remember meeting him many years ago when you held a "Mothers of Twins" board meeting at your house.
