Jesse Slaton Obituary

1919-2015 Jesse Embre Slaton, 96 Jesse Embre Slaton was born on August 14, 1919. He resided in Camden, Ovachita County, Arkansas. He married Minnie Lee Hodges on August 1, 1938. He was a member of the Louisiana National Guard. Jesse was a World War II Veteran in the United States Navy, serving his Country in Alaska. He lived in Louisiana until moving to PA in 1968. He married Rose (nee: Butera) Salkowski, then moved to Norristown. Jesse was an Auto Mechanic. When he was not working he enjoyed fishing. He was pre-deceased by his sons: Billy Joe & Jesse Lee Slaton. He is survived by his sons, Stanley M, Earl Jay, Gerald Wayne Slaton & Daughter, Linda Marie Kratz. He is also survived by his brother, Russell Slaton and many grandchildren & great grandchildren Funeral Service: Saturday, December 5, 2015 1:00pm Springfield Baptist Church, 184 N. Norwinded Dr. Springfield PA Visitation: Saturday, December 5, 2015 12:00pm in the Church Burial: Private
