DORIS BOROWSKI Obituary

Doris Caroline Borowski

BERLIN ? Doris Caroline Borowski, 81, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at Atlantic General Hospital.

Born in Shamokin, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Elmer Roland Brown and Katherine Greager Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Frank Borowski, in 2004. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Elizabeth Stephens, in 1998.

She is survived by her daughters, Ramona Frances Brown of Manchester, Md., and Karen Lee Mooney of Newnan, Ga. She was adored grandmother of Jamie Albers, Trisha Sagers, Lisa Marie Mooney and Johnathon Mooney.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Christopher Mears and William Mooney III.

Mrs. Borowski was a homemaker and a receptionist for the Public Defender's Office in Baltimore. She was a member of United Evangelical Church, Boggs-Disharoon American Legion and was active in the Berlin MAC Center.

Service will be private.

Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, Va. 23058-516; or American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 22312.

Arrangements are in the care of Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.
