John Price Obituary

John P. Price, Jr.

Salisbury-Captain John P. Price, Jr., passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. He was born in Salisbury on October 25, 1957 to the late John P. and Doris Thomas Price. John was a member of the Salisbury Moose Lodge 654 and the Skipjack Heritage Foundation. Johns passion was Skip Jacks, he loved sailing the Skip Jack "Ida Mae", and enjoyed being on the water. He loved family, friends and his beloved pet Hooch.

John is survived by his wife, Cynthia L. Price of Salisbury, his children, Christine Allen ( Michael ), Stacey Price, Jessica Price, Jack Price (Brittany), Timmy Figgs (Ashley), Dustin Figgs ( Becca Lovett), and Amber Figgs. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Reese Allen, Wells Allen, Kayla Wyatt, Keera Figgs, Colton Figgs, Chase Lovett, and Thomas Lovett. He is also survived by his brothers, Ronnie Price (Marian) and Wayne Price (Carolyn), his sisters Debbie Benton ( James) and Charlene Linton ( Tommy), sister-in-laws Tammy Thomas, Pam Burke, Linda Cornelius (Richard) and Robin Cubbage ( Cliff) . brothers-in law, Kenny Taylor, F. C. Taylor (Michelle), K.K. Thomas, Don Lecates, and Curtiss Taylor (Kelly) along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents were his mother in-laws Flo Murphy and Eleanor Taylor, his father-in-law Francis Taylor, his sister Carolyn D. Pugh, his brother-in law Jerry Porter, his niece, April Price, and a sister-in law Rosemary Paull.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 4:00 PM. at the Salisbury Moose Lodge No. 654, Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Md. The Rev. David Webster will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, The family has requested that donations in John's memory be made to the Rock Creek Methodist Church C/O Linda Horseman, Toddville Road, Chance, Md. 21821 or to Skipjack Heritage , 23529 Deal Island Road, Chance, Md. 21821
