James Horner Obituary
Wenona—James Andrew Horner, 34 of here died on Saturday,February 9th. , James fell into the open arms of a loving and Merciful God. He will be greatly missed from Today to Eternity. He was loved unconditionally by his Mother, Father, Brother and Sister. James, was born in Salisbury on Oct. 8, 1978. He was the son of Loudy and Susan Gibbons Horner of Wenona.
James was a waterman.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Brandy Brady and her husband Matt, of Westover, a Brother, Scott Horner and his wife Laura of Eden, his beloved nieces and nephew, Maddison and Benjamin Horner, Hannah White and Isabelle Brady. Also surviving is a Maternal Grandmother Anne Gibbons of Princess Anne and several Aunts ,Uncles and cousins
Preceding him in death were His maternal Grandfather John Gibbons and Paternal grandparents Edwin Horner Sr. and Estelle Horner.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 14th. at 2:00 PM. in the First Baptist Church in Princess Anne. Friends may call on Wednesday Evening at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will follow the service on thursday in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wenona. Rev. Jamie DeVaughn will officiate.

Every time I saw James I would ask him if he was behaving and he would say "always" with that beautiful smile on his face. I would then remind him that I used to change his diapers and he always got a kick out of that. Such a sweet person will be missed by all and my thoughts and prayers are with the Horner family. It's so sad to have to write or post things as I am now! There are far too many of these occurrences! Everyone try's to look for answers as to why tragic events such as the passing of this amazing young man happens, but sadly all we can come up with are generic kind words that we implement in times such as these and hope that they offer even the slightest bit of pain alleviation to the one's that held him the closest. Is there something better that us as friends can do or say to mean so much more to his family that helps the pain? If there is then I strongly request to the amazing friends posting on Facebook and this fine blog to share with us. I am a proud American man, solider, father, husband, brother ,son, grandson, nephew and cousin. I share many life experiences, trials and tribulations with People in hopes that I may help somebody that really needs it. And today I'm writing this post for the Horner family. Grieving Horner family, I was a fond admirer of James. He is the true definition of the country boy that grew up on the lower Eastern Shore. There are so many amazing quality's and traits that James had. In fact if I listed them all this blog wouldn't hold them. To all of his friends he was larger than life. Handsome, extremely funny, very outgoing, intelligent, articulit and on and on. Memories of him just take hold of you and before the human thought process takes place, instantly you realize all those great quality's he shines. The air and confidence of his work and the loyalty to his friends and family whom he held dearest in his huge heart. As I sit hear and type this post it is not rehursed nor a final draft from which I made sure was accurate and correct, but straight from my heart and fondest memories I have ever had. To you I hope this will give some relief and insight to things about James that you may or may not have known. I hope in the best ways possible that it sheds light on the man he had become and the amazing love that he shared with us all. May he forever live in the sky and be the guiding light that steers us to the ultimate goal of ones life..... Endless happiness to all of our loved ones and no regrets as we all strive to live our life as best as we possibly can. I have one more angel watching over me. Believe that his spirit lives on and that he will continue to fill our hearts with the same enjoyment and content he was so well known for.
