O'Neal, Margaret Louise

Salisbury-Margaret Louise O'Neal, 62, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake with her family close by. Born on June 13, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruby Owens.

Mrs. O'Neal married her soulmate, Burton O'Neal, on July 14, 1978. Along with her husband, she leaves four daughters to cherish many precious memories, Theresa Brink, Margaret Hall (Richard), Michelle Classing (Jerry) and Pamela Wix (Kenny) and their families which include twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Gladys Shepp (Phil) and her family, a brother-in-law, Norris Moore and her beloved pets, Ashes, Pebbles and Fuzzy.

Known by all as a "spitfire,"Margaret was a past member and Pocahantas of The Redmen Lodge in Fruitland, MD. She was employed with Food Lion, Tishcon, Sealy, Gant Shirt Factory and at a lumber mill. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid Elvis Presley fan and collector.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special sister-in-law and best friend, Kathy Moore.

A memorial service has been planned for Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 1:00pm at Redmen Lodge in Fruitland, MD, where friends and family may join in memory of Mrs. Margaret O'Neal and celebrate her life. The family asks that donations be made in memory of Margaret to Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Services were provided by Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
