I never knew Mark in his younger years, I wished I had. He had such an unusual perspective on life. He accepted what life gave to him in a way that very few people do. If you did not ask, he did not tell you about all the special contributions that he has made. When those who were around him in the last years learned about him, they had not realized those special qualities because he did not tell them. But, he had those special qualities. Everyone said, why did I not get to know him better? I will remember him always and admire his courage. Yes indeed, Mark was a very special person.

I hauled the milk off Marky's farm in Scottsville for many years. All the while I was there, Marky would shoot the breeze with me. I got to know him as a friend that I will now miss. My sympathies to the entire family. Dick Greer

To the Gonsenhauser Family
Deepest Sympathy at your time of loss !
My very 1st real job was with Mark on "The Farm" Westfall Rd in the early 70s. I learned a lot about hard-work and perseverance while working with Max and Mark. I have fond & funny memories of those days with Mark.
Thoughts and Prayers are with you all!

Mark was a very best friend for many years. We worked together at Dorschel's
and when I moved to Oklahoma ten years
ago we never lost touch. We would talk
often and always got together when I was in Rochester. Mark will be missed
by me but never forgotten.
