Having attend the wake, funeral service and graveyard service, I really saw how much Mike was loved by everyone he touched and even some he didn't. The line of cars that streached over 1 1/2 miles in route to his final resting place. The church that was filled to capacity, and the young childern who came from school to honor Mike. To Steve, Mary Lou, Kris, Collin, and Shaun, you have only to look up and he is there. He has not left you only in body. His spirit will live forever and all you have to do is ask and he will answer. My sincere condolances and prayers are sent your way. Stay strong and know Mike is alwsys near.

My Sympathy is with your whole family. I can't believe he's gone. We just saw and had a very nice conversation with Mike when he did the Funeral Plans for my sister who passed away on the 10 of January. His smile was a treasure. His personality made you feel comfortable and he truly cared about the loss of your loved one. He was just to young to leave this earth. He will be truly missed by all.

I first met Mike when my father passed away in1997. Mike came to my Mother's home at 6 am in the morning. Eventhough it was a very sad time for the family (Blankenbergs) , my mother served us with her home made Molasis cookies. I will always Mike for his kindness and his all of the time smile, and everytime I saw Mike after that morning .He always asked me if i had molasis cookies for him. ( with a big smile) . Mike and i aways shared lots of humor. Regardless of when and where we met. I will be at a loss when i go down route 31 through Macedon. I will never forget him. To Mike's Family...So sorry for your loss, John

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Mike's passing. We remember him as a sweet young man during our time working at Stickley in Victor during the 1980's and early 90's. Our hearts go out to all his family and particularly, to his Mom, Margaret, who was a co-worker. We are so very sorry for your loss.

I wanted to express my heartfelt sympathy for you and your boys during this time. Mike was such a prominant figure in the community, and was there for so many of us during our times of sorrow. His wonderful mix of empathy and humor were so welcome while we mourned my mother in law. And I know she was smiling down as Mike drove her ashes around in a Corvette! Please know that there are so many people who are praying and thinking of you and the boys during this time. May you find comfort in the memories and love. Sincerely, Dave, Candy and Madison Stonemetz

The Ebert family is shocked and very saddened by Mike's passing. In recent years he helped us through the deaths of both our parents. He even was able to come up with humerous anecdotes as we discussed arrangements. He truly was a talented man very well suited for his occupation. To say that we've lost one of the truly good ones is an understatement. We all morn this loss.

I have not seen Mike in many years, but I had spent time with him in 1988 at SUNY DELHI. He was always there to keep me company, help motivate me through a tough freshman year of college and be a big brother of sorts. I will never forget how he so willingly looked out for a friend who needed a guiding light and he was willing to be that. I know he will be very missed by his family and I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man and will certainly be missed by many.

I along with many will miss his smile and concern for anyone he spoke with. He made the passing of a good friend bearable. As I was her hairdresser he asked if I would like to do her hair. I did and was able to honor her one last time. For that I will be eternally grateful to him. He helped me say goodbye in a special way. Thank you Mike. My heartfelt sympathy for his family and many friends.
