Survived by her children, Lorraine (Richard) Weber of Cohocton, Michele (Tom) Platten of Livonia, Stephen Delio of Corning, Jacqueline Delio of Rochester, Mary Louise (Raymond) Bisig of Rochester, Joseph (Judy) Delio of Fayetteviile, NC, Christopher (Laura) Delio of Seminole, FL. 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by 4 brothers & 3 sisters. Friends may call Friday 2-4, 7-9 PM at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc, Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St., Livonia. Funeral Mass, Saturday 10 AM at St. Matthews Church, Route 20A, Livonia. Spring Interment, St. Michaels Cemetery. You can tell so much about a person by their family and luckily this is a part of mine....I'm so fortunate to have met Olga and to be a part of her life.
An amazing woman was kissed by an angel, and breath lost this week. I have been fortunate enough to be part of this family for somewhere around 17 years, but feels like my whole life. Heart is not but the home, but where it starts. Grandma Olga has shown me in the years that STRENGTH is perseverance and WILL is something (even stronger than my own mothers). She proved that family and sticking through to be with them and survival to do so, is of most importance.
In the times that I saw Grandma, the one that strikes me is my parents wedding. Grandma was acccepting, loving and so excited to see Mom (Laura) and Chris married! I only have one picture but I'll cherish it, because with but no words and just who she was. I saw a giver, a teacher, shared strength, wisdom, guidance, opinion, but not judgment. I thank God that I got to be a small part of her life, and that I'm a part of her family. I have and able to cherish so much from Granma Olga.

Our heartfelt condolences are with you and your family on the loss or your mother, Olga. We prayed that she would be okay until Chris & Laura were able to come to Rochester so they could visit with her. She is now with God looking down on you.
