My sympathy to the entire family. I was in the first Earth Science class taught at Penfield by Mr. Ketcham. My father, Frank Bennett, was delighted that Penfield would offer an Earth Science program for freshman students. I went on to major in Biology and taught middle school science for 40 years. This past summer I headed an earth science week long institute for the earth science teachers in NJ. Mr. Ketcham's influence traveled far.

I fondly remember Mr Ketcham as my science teacher. I graduated from PHS in 1968. I majored in Biology in college and became a medical technologist in 1973. I am so thankful for the science teachers that I had in high school. They put the path before me. I so thankful for that as it lead me to a rewarding career. I am so sorry for your loss and will pray for all of you.
