Morton Kimball Obituary
Pittsford: September 7, 2017 at age 91. Predeceased by his parents, Donald B. and Evelyn M. Kimball; brother and sister-in-law, Donald B. Jr and Dorothy M Kimball. He is survived by his nieces, Susan Loughnane and Ann Kimball; grand-nieces and nephews; friends in Washington, D.C. and Rochester.
"Kim" graduated from Brighton H.S. in 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard a destroyer during WWII and was re-called to duty during the Korean Conflict. A graduate of Swarthmore College and Cornell University, Kim worked for Hilton Hotels at the Plaza Hotel. He worked for N.Y.U. as Director of Student Affairs before joining a property management company in Washington, D.C. and Miami.
Kim retired to Seneca Lake in 1989 and has lived at the Highlands in Pittsford since 2004. He was an active volunteer with Literacy Volunteers, Barbershop Chorus, Hospice and Aids Rochester. He had a lifelong love of opera; his extensive collection of Metropolitan Opera broadcasts are now held at Nazareth College.
Services will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster 14580. To share a memory of Kim or to send a condolence to the family visit www.anthonychapels.com.

Moe was a Cayuga's Waiter (a triple Quartet at Cornell) and he sang with us in the mid-'50s). He was always "up-beat" - had a nice tenor voice - and a good friend. I am "kind of" the contact guy for the Waiters, and am sorry I didn't know of his passing until now. I talked to him in late 2016 (or early '17). He was a good friend (somewhat 'older' than the rest of us) and was very happy to hear of the news of our singing performances at the yearly Reunion weekends (12 years) at Cornell. He will always be remembered.
