Betty Pickering Obituary
Victor: Saturday, April 9, 2016, at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Stanley A. Pickering and son, Ray R. Pickering. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Pamela Pickering, Gerald and Charlene Pickering; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Timothy Haag, and Linda Pickering; brothers and sister-in-law, William Brake, Richard (Margaret) Brake, and brother-in-law, John Freund; her grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Pickering, Erin (Jason) Nye, Corey (Morgan) Pickering, Chad, Luke, Cole Pickering, and Benjamin Haag; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Cora Nye, and Natalie Pickering; many other relatives and dear friends.
Betty was a life-time member of the Victor Farmington Ambulance Corps, and was an avid card player, reader, painter of fine china, and homemaker.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday (April 12, 2016) from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home (301 W. Main St., Victor, NY). Betty's memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 13, 2016) at 3:00 PM in the Victor United Methodist Church (106 E. Main St., Victor, NY). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Victor Farmington Ambulance Corps, 1321 E. Victor Rd., Victor, NY in Betty's memory.
