Lisa Kilburne-Huson Obituary
Penfield, NY: October 8, 2014. Lisa is survived by her loving husband James and daughter Julia. Lisa was born on April 22, 1955 and lived her whole life in Rochester, NY. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother Eileen, father Florian and brother Barry. Lisa graduated from the University of Rochester and opened her own real estate brokerage, Brightskye Associates in 2001 which was her pride and joy. Lisa was an expert camper and loved the outdoors. Lisa also enjoyed kayaking, paddle tennis and playing volleyball in the Penfield Adult Volleyball League for over 15 years.
Lisa's wake and calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rte. 250) on Saturday, October 11th from 1-5 PM. A Requieum Mass will be celebrated on October 13th at Our Lady of Victory/St. Joseph Church, 210 Pleasant Street, Rochester, NY at 11 AM.

To Julia & her father
I first met your mother/wife at the dog park 3 years ago. We were walking our dogs and sharing some laughs, we liked each other immediately. Our conversation became deeper sharing some tragedies we have experiences
In our lives. We realized only at the end of our walk our children were good friends at UB. And we were both realtors. I was new at the business and Lisa very seasoned. We ran into each other several times after, walking our dogs. I'm so very sorry for your great loss as your mother/wife was truly a unique and brilliant women. She often talked about her deep love for you both. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sad to hear of Lisa's passing. We shared a lot of laughs at her grandma's cottage as 9 and 10-year olds. Lisa's mom, Eileen, was my godmother and my mom, Arlene LaBounty, was her godmother. I thought we were cousins when I was little.

I was stunned to read of Lisas passing today! We worked together at Prudential years ago and we just clicked I played bonco with her and she was on the parents board with me at Mercy for many years. She always had a smile and a funny story to tell. The last time I talked with her she was in Hawaii and told me to come and visit with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I went to high school with Lisa and saw her at a Bishop Kearney reunion at Marge's a few years back and she was as bright and cheery a person as I remember. I am so very sorry she left this world so early. Please accept my sympathy.

Lisa was a person with a beautiful heart. Its what I saw when I met her and husband Jim. She loved to laugh, and funny movies. She asked me for a good funny movie. I told her Leap Year, its the best! She watched it and one of the last times we spoke brought it up. There's a flying shoe part that we both laughed about. She was the best mom too!! Julia..her jewel. My heart and prayers go out to her family..I am so sorry for your loss.
