Neoma Dodds Obituary
Hilton: October 6, 2014. Neoma Rose Clouse was born on January 11, 1934 in Surrey, North Dakota, a daughter of William Clouse & Grace (Smith) (Dinius) Clouse. She had a full sister, Martha Kaltoft; a full brother, William Clouse; and 13 half sisters and brothers. She was predeceased by her son, David Dodds. Survived by her husband, Kay Dodds of Hilton; a daughter, Kayla Dodds & grandchildren, Joycelyn & Jamie Sue Dodds of Galway, NY and her brother, William Clouse of Alden, Iowa.
Throughout her life Neoma faced chronic pain and sleeplessness with grace and good cheer. Her faith, compassion, industry, and humor made family life a welcome refuge. Neoma was an excellent seamstress, teaching adult education classes. She was an avid gardener, bestowing vegetarian bounty on friends and neighbors. She served the Lord faithfully in many church callings. Neoma succumbed from suffering the continuing ravages of Alzheimer's disease and will be sorely missed by family, many friends, & neighbors.
Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday from 4-7 at the THOMAS E, BURGER FUNERAL HOME, 735 East Ave., Hilton. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 6 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4088 Lake Rd., Brockport, NY. Private Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Roch., NY 14620.

Kay and Kayla:
I will always remember Neoma for her bright, smile that would light up the room! She was and is the best! and fortunately, I believe our sweet David (the best home teaching companion I ever had) was there to meet his Mom and embrace her! We will see both of them and so many other brothers and sisters from the Brockport Branch/Ward that were such a part of our lives!

Years ago, you were among the first neighbors we had in Hilton. We shared activities, our children's childhoods and their growing up years. We thank you and especially Neoma for your friendliness and your share in making lasting memories that we treasure today. We are deeply sorry for your loss and share your grief.
