Uncle John was such special Uncle to me. When I was young he "included" me on dates with now Aunt Caroline. He took me to a train station in Rochester that I remember to this day. I will never forget his (and Aunt Caroline's) the love they showed my wife. I will always love you UJ. You were the perfect example of "family".

I met John in the early 1980's. Both being appraisers he helped and guided me with the many questions I had. I will always remember his laugh and kindness. He was much loved and respected.

My deepest sympathy to Carolyn and family regarding John's passing. I met John back in the early 1970's. Unfortunately, I have not had much contact with him over the last 10 years. He was always a great professional and a really enthusiastic great guy.

Grandpa was the most jovial, sweet soul. He lived each day in the moment, keeping an open heart, and, mind. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was a generous volunteer, and very proud of his long career in real estate. When I moved from NY to ATL, he cried. He loved me very much, and I, him. While visiting one night, about 5 years ago, we were sitting together in the kitchen. He was rocking in his chair, looking at me, smiling. I asked him what he was smiling at, and he leaned close, squinting through his glasses and said, "Rebecca, you look like the Blessed Virgin Mary...you do!" He glanced at the picture of the Blessed Virgin on the wall and looked back at me with that great smile that made his eyes sparkle.
You are loved. You are missed. Have a tasty with Jesus for me. I'll see you both soon....
