Read MoreUncle John was such special Uncle to me. When I was young he "included" me on dates with now Aunt Caroline. He took me to a train station in Rochester that I remember to this day. I will never forget his (and Aunt Caroline's) the love they showed my wife. I will always love you UJ. You were the perfect example of "family".

My deepest sympathy to Carolyn and family regarding John's passing. I met John back in the early 1970's. Unfortunately, I have not had much contact with him over the last 10 years. He was always a great professional and a really enthusiastic great guy.

Grandpa was the most jovial, sweet soul. He lived each day in the moment, keeping an open heart, and, mind. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
