Richard Heineman Obituary
Penfield/Vernon Hills, IL: A 55-year resident of Penfield, Dick passed away peacefully on February 21, 2017, age 90. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Joan Adams Heineman. He is survived by his loving children, Richard (Lucinda) Heineman, Jr. of Highland Park, IL, Jacqueline (Sam) Gidas of Pittsburgh, PA and Eric Heineman of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren, Richard III (Ellie Collier), David and Michael Heineman; Joan Gidas (Nicholas) Blackwell, Victoria (Robert Kellum) Gidas, Mary Gidas and seven great grandchildren.
Dick served in the US Navy during World War II and graduated in 1948 from Swarthmore College with a BA in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Financial analyst at Xerox Corp. for 34 years. He was a Monroe County swimming official for 35 years.
Friends may call Saturday, March 11 from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Rd., Webster). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dick's name can be made to Never Say Never Stables, 906 Maple Dr., Webster, NY 14580 (www.neversayneverstables.com).
