Naomi Lederman Obituary
Brighton: Passed away on August 2, 2014 at age 70. Predeceased by her son, Gordon; parents, Clarence & Ada Cohen. Survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Dr. David Lederman; devoted children, Eva, Faye (Jeremy); Daughter-in-law, Lisa Lederman; grandchildren Mitchell, Kyle, Morgan, Adi, Lielle; siblings, Albert (Ellen) Cohen, Efraim (Paulette) Cohen, I. Aaron (Karen Andres) Cohen; uncles, aunts and many nieces & nephews; and other family & a community of friends.
Graduate of the University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music, Masters Degree from Syracuse University. Music Teacher and Mentor to many young students. Longtime accompanist to the Rochester Jewish Chorale.
Funeral Services will be held today, SUNDAY (8/3/14), at 4:00 PM in Brighton Memorial Chapel (3325 Winton Road S.). Interment, Britton Road Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at 59 Wilshire Rd., Brighton, Sunday night until Monday at 5 PM and Wednesday morning through Friday 12 PM (Noon). Donations may be made to Beth Hakneses Hachodosh or Chabad-Lubavitch of Rochester in her memory. To leave a message of condolence, please visit:

Dear David, Eve and Faye, Al, Aaron and Efraim,
I am so sorry Jeff and I can't be with you and the rest of the family at this sad time. I will never forget Naomi sitting by my dad's bedside during his final illness, playing her flute for him. Or looking out into the audience while performing at the Syracuse Klezfest a few years ago, and seeing Naomi and David waving to me!
I'm so glad we were all together in May at Sarita's bat mitzvah.
Jeff and I wish you strength, and may you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
