Meter, James W.

West Sparta: Passed quietly at home with his family by his side Friday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 69.

Survived by his wife, Erin Meter of West Sparta; son, Bill Meter of West Sparta and daughter Mandy (Charlie Gates) Carey of Dansville; sister, Nancy Young of Dansville; grandchildren, Mara Carey of Rochester, Michael Carey of Dansville and Jimmy Meter of West Sparta; many nieces & nephews.

Friends may call today 4:00 to 7:00 at the Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 4 Perine St. in Dansville. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at the West Sparta Methodist Church at 11:00. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made the Livingston County Hospice program, 2 Murray Hill, Mt. Morris, NY. 14510.

We are deeply saddened to have lost such a dear friend. Our heartfelt thoughts are with Erin, Billy, Mandy, Jimmy, Mara, Nancy and all of his loved ones. We are extremely grateful to have known such a fine human being. He will be sorely missed.
