Kimberly Thompson Obituary
Kimberly J.
Macedon: September 17, 2015, unexpectedly at age 46, with her family by her side. She is survived by two children, Madison and Tanner Thompson; best friend and mother of their children, Sue Mack; mother, Vicki Thompson; sister, Kelly (Chuck) Cheasman; grandmother, Leota Loss; several nieces and nephews, including Jordan (Andrew) Day and Ryan Cheasman; cousins; and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Don Thompson; and uncle, Richard Loss. Kim attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 1987. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Buffalo. Kim worked as a project manager for LaBella Associates of Rochester. She had a love of sports and enjoyed attending her children's school and athletic events. Kim loved spending time with her family and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, from 4-7 pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, at 11 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dollars for Scholars, in memory of Kim Thompson, c/o Palmyra-Macedon High School, 151 Hyde Parkway, Palmyra, NY 14522.

I used to work quite a bit with Kim years back, and what i remember most was her smile. Some people seem to smile, and not mean it, but Kim's smile was always real, optimistic, happy and full. I was shocked to hear of the news, and praying for her family and friends. Her smile shines down on us all now.

I didn't know Kim, but she was a long time friend of a friend, and just hearing about her, I know she was a wonderful person. She was loved by many. May wonderful memories of her last in the minds of all of her friends and family. Peace, love and light.

I am very sad to hear about Kim's passing. Kim was very kind and sweet. Kim was a class officer all throughout high school and worked on all of the Class of 1987 reunions since. Km was a super athlete and really fun. She loved to laugh I was proud of Kim and will miss her .

Every day I saw her, she made it better. Every time she smiled, it lit up the room. Her laugh. Her devilish look. Her compassion. Her passion for life. She will be so terribly missed. I will honor her by trying to live my life as fully as she lived her's. Love you and miss you, Kim.
