I talked to Jan Boone's high school reunion and she was so happy that the two of you were together. So sorry to learn of her passing.

I am shocked and saddened to have heard today of Jan's passing. She was such a goodhearted, kind and giving friend. Her assistance through my time of need after my leg injury was incredibly supportive. I am sorry that I was unaware of the extent of her illness of late. I hadn't heard from her recently and figured she was just so busy with all her involvements in the community. She was an incredible woman who not only gave of herself through her service to country, but also of her duty to country. We too at Pro Players Association remember her for her volunteer commitment at events. Her contribution of time and experience was always greatly appreciated. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. I'm sure she will be long remembered for all which she had contributed to so many in so many ways. Her prescense will be greatly missed.

My God be very close to you, Rick, and to your family during this time of grief. Jan will be missed by all of us in the DCGOP community. Also, we appreciate her so much for her military service to our great country.
