Dear Ester Family,
It is fair to say that Keith had a tremendous influence on the teacher and coach I would become. His direct and personal style continued to benefit most through his successful career. The early influence he had on me was a gift that led me to what I consider the best job a person can hold, a teacher. Thanks, Keith! Your efforts started a pay it forward movement that will continue on its own.

Dear Ester family-
I had the privilege of working with both your Mom and Dad in Mapleton Public Schools. Your dad was one of the finest Administrators that I had the opportunity to know and work with. Keith was a great teacher, as he always lived and modeled what he taught. I will always remember him as an ethical, caring, kind, and easy to talk to; all which made him very approachable and a great leader!! The number of lives that he impacted, from students, to parents and teachers and other fellow administrators are vast. Keith was one of the central administrators in Mapleton who was responsible for creating a training program, designed to in-service district staff interested in becoming administrators. This was at a time when it was recognized that less than 15% of the district's administrative staff was female. I personally learned a great deal from your Dad. People LOVED working with him! Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I can only imagine what a FANTASTIC Dad and Grandfather he was, based on how he treated and worked with all staff in Mapleton. May your many memories of wonderful times spent together help sustain you during this time of loss and know that he will always be with you. I know I will never forget him!
