Dad, we spread your ashes on Lookout Mountain on your birthday Saturday. You have a great view of Denver. Now you're nourishing the trees, just as you did countless listeners and students. I hope you can hear wind rustling in branches and birds singing.
I love you infinitely, Bestist Daddy ever!!!

My condolences to Ron's family. He was a very dedicated teacher, much loved by his students, and by his fellow musicians. I will miss his smile!

My wife and I took clarinet lessons with Ron some years back. Ron was a wonderful teacher and a good friend. Ron had a great positive influence on so many young musicians, and older ones like me, too. I will always remember his kindness and humor, and think of him often.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

I worked with Ron in the 80s with the Colo Ballet orchestra-- and guest conducted him a few times after that-- he was wonderful to work with and was a kind friend.
