A belated shout out to my friend, Rob Cleary, who passed in 2015 (I just found out). We shared many chats, either at my store or at Doc Insomnia's. I read "Welcome Intruder." It was like Rob: straightforward without any braggadocio whatsoever. He had a job and he got it done.
His heroism extended into his long battle with Parkinson's. He'd tell me about a mishap, that he'd fallen and broken something. I'd be grimacing, but he was matter-of-fact about it. Just another thing to overcome. Brave dude. Terrific human being. One of my favorite people. Condolences to his wife, Judy, and the rest of his family.
Take care, brother.

Judy - Rob and I were friends at the DAC and through the 10th Mt. Division hut system. We also shared some flying stories from Viet Nam days. I would appreciate it if you would please notify me so I can inform his other Denver Squash buddies of the memorial next spring. I would want to attend if at all possible. My condolences on your loss. Rob was a great guy.

sounds like the 'same' Rob Cleary I/we knew in Grand Junction Colorado from later 1970's into the 1980's? ran 10k in 38-some, played guitar and sang? this Rob Cleary I remember was a decent good-hearted fun fellow -- must be the same person!
