Arnold Arne Simonson

1915 - 2016

Husband, father, grandfather, friend. As a good and gentle man of modest words and great deeds, he expressed love through service, giving and being. With a Ph.D. in Optimism, he showed us most any circumstance could change for the better through patient action and belief in the good in others. In family, faith, business and life, his honest word and expert work was his bond and source of strength for all. Thank you, Arne, for showing us over 100 years how to live! Survived by wife of 53 years, Helen, brother, Alvin (Billie), daughters Ann (Liz), Clare (Tye), sons Tom (Kim), Paul (Heather), 7 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation from 4 pm to 6 pm, with Rosary at 6 pm Wednesday, March 2, at Olinger Moore Howard Chapel, 4345 W. 46 th Ave., Denver. Funeral at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 4200 Federal Blvd., Denver. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Catherine of Sienna School, Denver.
