Beatrice Swensen Obituary
1917 ~ 2014
MAGNA, UT-Mom passed away in Murray, UT on March 6, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was brought into this world by her grandmother, who was a midwife, at her grandmother's home on October 19, 1917 in Magna where she lived her whole life. She married Boyd A. Swensen on December 6, 1935, and their union was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 27, 1955. The Piano and organ were a large part of her life, and mom was the ward organist in the Pleasant Green 2nd Ward for over forty years. She is survived by her children, Donna (Kay) Dea, Richard (Mary) Swensen, Dave (Carol Lynn) Swensen, Craig (Lanna) Swensen, Deborah Swensen; 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lynn Cluff; and many nieces, nephews, and her dogs. She was preceded in death by husband; parents, Hyrum D. and LaVenia Elizabeth Lambert Cluff; sister, Carma; brother, Gail; and great granddaughter, Elizabeth. Special thanks to Care Source, Avalon West and the many In-Home health services over the years.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., where a viewing will be held Friday 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com

So sorry that Aunt Bea has passed away. What a wonderful reunion I'm sure she had with my mom Carma there to greet her on the other side of the veil. We have donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation in lieu of flowers. Much Love, Grant, Jo Lynn, Jourdan and Maggie Tidwell
