Jeremy Beecher Obituary

1984 ~ 2011
Our beloved husband, son, father, and brother passed unexpectedly into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father October 1, 2011, two days short of his 27th birthday. Jeremy was born in Fort Lewis, Washington on October 3, 1984, son of Scott and Dru Beecher. While growing up he traveled to Arizona, Germany, California while his father served in the Army. They settled in Bountiful, Utah. While living there, Jeremy met the love of his life, Rachel Leigh Woodruff. They were married January 28, 2006 in Layton, Utah. Together they had two beautiful children, Owen (Owen Boy) age six and Avery (Chicka Doo) age two.
Jeremy made friends wherever he went and was never judgmental of anyone. Jeremy loved all kinds of music, driving fast, the outdoors, four wheeling, and spending time with his family. He was creative, a fast learner, good with his hands, and loved to know how things worked.
He will be missed by his wife, Rachel and two children, Owen (6), Avery (2). Survived by his mother and father; Scott and Dru Beecher; Sisters, Jessica (Brian) Peck, Brittany (David) Snow, Ashley (Dylan) Miller, both sets of grandparents, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends .
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Orchard 8th Ward Chapel, 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake, Utah. A viewing will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wednesday morning before the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church for family and close friends. Interment will follow at the Brigham City Cemetery. An online guest book is available at www.russonmortuary.com. In lieu of flowers an account has been set up for his children at America First Credit Union under Owen and Avery Beecher.

Dear Family, The few times I was around Jeremy he was a fun young man. I remember the time he spent at the cabin with Mema and Pepa and the to big of hat he wore while he was there. He had to be a good person being a son to Dru. I have you in my thoughts and prayers that Heavenly Father will be with you through this sad time. Take care, we love you all. Judy

Hey Jeremy,

I love you and I know that you will always be with us. Even though we can't see you, we know that you are here and watching over us. You are a wonderful young man, Jeremy, with a ready smile and laugh. One of my favorite memories of you is the way you loved playing with children. You would carry them on your shoulders or flip them around in the air in a way that one would wonder how they would survive it. But you would catch them just at the right time and most times they would giggle and ask for more. You are a wonderful young man with a heart of gold. I am thankful everyday that I am your aunt and you are my nephew and that family relationships can be eternal. Your family and friends have felt your love and presence these past few days and we are anxiously awaiting the day when we can see you and your smile and hug you again. Thank you for your example, your beautiful personality, and your loving and nonjudgemental nature. It is something that I am going to emulate and pass on to others from now on. I love you, Jeremy, I truly do.

Love you,
Aunt Brooke

Jeremy- Our fondest memory of you was when you were in the hospital bed with Rachel after she had given birth to Avery. You were so happy you looked like you won the lottery! We know you will watch over those perfect kids. And Rachel, these scripture verses might help you in this time: D&C 121:7-9. We all love you and know you can get through this. Rachel,

My heart is so broken for you and your two little children. I know Jeremy is hanging out with Jesus feeling that peace in his heart that he was craving here. You two will be together again. I pray now that you will find some sort of peace in the years to come. Know that I want to be here for you and am willing to help you if you need it.
