I don't know you, but I also lost a beautiful son and so I understand, somewhat, the horrible pain that you are engulfed in. If I can be of any help, if you want to talk about how to navigate the sea of grief, I would welcome an email.
Most sincerely-

Dear Kim and family,

I am so very sorry to hear of Sean's passing. My heart and prayers go out to all of you. I wish I could take this all away. This should never have happened. I only met Sean once, and I will never forget that beautiful smile of his. He has your smile Kim. I know that he was as beautiful inside as he was on the outside. He will forever be a part of you, in your heart and in your soul. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Kim,
I worked with you at the Toyota dealership, but I was Seans supervisor at ACS.
I should have fired him so many times,(for being late and goofing off) but I couldnt. He had such charm and personality that he quickly became my favorite. (I know, we shouldnt have favorites) But he just has that way about him.
He was such a shining light and a joy to be around.
Im so sorry for your loss. May god bless you and your family and help you through this rough time.

Hi Kim,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Brian Andrew Wong's analogy is so correct about how our grief may eff and flow. The well fills up to the brim with grief and when we cry it empties out again. But it will fill up again. I feel your sadness and you pain that you are suffering over the loss of your boy. It doesn't matter how old they are or how young a child is when they pass over, the pain you feel is like a knife cutting into your chest. I made the mistake of holding my tears in the well so they would't flow over when my little girl died. It was not healthy for me to do that and not healthy for my girls. It is good to talk about Sean and share the many experiences you had with him. I am always available to lend a listening ear after all you are a dear friend of my daughter Cidney which makes you family. I love you and God bless you and know that Sean is with our Lord Jesus Christ and is at peace now. Rita

Kim, Ryan, Clella and Kevin - you are in our thoughts at this time of sorrow......Sean was such a character and he had the most wonderful smile. It was always a joy to be around him whether it was playing cards on a Saturday night at S&S's house or telling him to watch out for the "snow snakes" at the cabin. He will be missed but he will always be in our hearts.

Your grief may ebb and flow. It has been said that each of us has this well deep inside of us that can be filled to the brim with grief. Every time we cry, we empty out some of the well. But the well fills again. The level of sorrow in your well may lessen as time passes, but it will never run dry. There will always be birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and those days when the well seems to fill to its brim again. Allow yourself time to remember and mourn. It is part of your healing. Grief is a continuing journey.
