Chandler Webb Obituary

Chandler was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was welcomed into a loving home by his parents, Blake J. Webb and Loralyn (Lori) Killpack Webb. He was the baby brother to Brandon and Mitch.
He passed away peacefully after a hard battle in the ICU, suffering from severe brain damage, the result of a flu shot.
Chandler was a special boy with a heart of gold. His happiness was contagious. He recently graduated from Brighton High School and was preparing to leave on a 2 year mission for his church.
Chandler loved his brothers and family. He loved to hang out with his friends, boating, snowboarding, vacations, candy and the Utah Jazz!
Chandler will be missed more than words can express. His death is so senseless. He is survived by his loving parents Blake (Dawn) Webb, Lori Webb, brothers Brandon , Mitchel (Breynn). His grandparents Lowell O. Killpack (Karen), Lynn Johnson, Dean and Lucile Webb (deceased). He has numerous Aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Chandler's last 28 days were spent surrounded by so many who loved him. He may not have been able to wake up to see them, but we know that he knew they were there.
The family wishes to thank the incredible people at the IMC ICU, especially the nurses and tech's who treated him with exceptional competence, dignity and love.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the LDS Church, 10945 South 1700 East in Sandy. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30am prior to the services at the church. I keep coming across your story. So many mothers are learning of the dangers of vaccines for the first time. I appreciate that you are speaking out. I pray God offers you and your family comfort and continued strength. I pray you feel the love of all of us coming across Chandlers story whom are touched, that you feel the love we extend to you. I did hear your interview on the news media soon after you lost your beloved son. My grandson died a short time after he received his vaccines,some time ago. I admire your strength under these difficult circumstances. Speak of your concerns often and you and Chandler's memory will save lives.We should have written our own obituary,so many years,ago. This is a senseless and tragic loss of a promising, young man. Anyone who hears Chandler's story cannot come away untouched. I worked with Chandler during his illness and though he could not speak to me I felt his angelic presence. He must have been a great kid. During the terrible ordeal his family displayed extraordinary grace and composure. They were always there at his side. My heart goes out to them in this time of grief. His death has changed my life. Life is a gift, cherish every moment.

I am sending my sincere thoughts and prayers to you and your family. There is something in flu shots and over here in the uk so many have suffered because of the flu shot so this year we have not had them done. We are asthmatics but last year flu jab left my son with epilepsy. it will be another 18 more months at the earliest before he is off meds. We were/are devastated and your loss of your lovely boy must be a million fold. My heart literally aches about this and know me and my family are rooting for you. My son Chandler was born via csection November 21, I just read your story this morning. My Chandler was born healthy and with smiles but less than an hour later he was lifeless in my arms while breaatfeeding. The nurse was able to recover him seconds later. He is still at the hospital but some how it felt this connection after reading about your Chandler. I started having contractions on November 19, but the pain was not too serious. Two days later I made it to the hospital because contractions had increased, Chandler had flucurating heart beats. At 1.12 pm my Chandler was born. Somewhere out there God always send us angels. In my heart my Chandler will always be connected to your Chandler.

Chandler must have been a very special boy for God to choose him so young to be one of His guardian angels from above. It is only faith that keeps us going. Chandler is with you every day. I am sorry for the lost of your beautiful son. I refuse to take the flu shot because it gives me a slight version of the flu. Doctor says it is not possible because it is a dead virus. I just know it has happened several times. May you find comfort in the many people whose lives you have touched.

I am so sorry for your loss. You would think that giving a flu shot would be good for someone, but that is not always the case. As an RN, I need to rethink my thoughts on the issue. To the Webb family and their loved ones -
I am so very sorry for your loss, especially by way of vaccine. My first child had a very negative reaction to a DTaP shot in 1998. Her whole body turned fire-engine red and she screamed inconsolably for over 24 hours. When I called them, frantic, the doctors office did not believe it was a vaccine reaction and said the only way to know for sure was if she died. Thank you for your courage in openly declaring what happened. Maybe it will help to de-mainstream this whole crazy vaccine industry. May God bless you, and bless your boy, as he goes forth to serve with honor the other side of the veil. Like you, I believe that families are forever. May the peace of that knowledge comfort and abide in you at this time.

Chandler was a delightful young man, wise beyond his years with a gift of leadership and an engaging personality. What a profound loss for his family and friends. One cannot help but feel he has been called to bless others beyond our gaze. I visited him in the hospital and felt the gravity of his condition but also a feeling of comfort that comes from our savior knowing all.
