I met Stan at the Olympus High wrestling meets where he loved to watch his sons Bruce and Craig, back in the late 70s/early 80s. When we weren't talking wrestling, we were talking fishing. Got a kick out of him telling me how to use a "cheater" pole at Strawberry. He was very proud of his sons' accomplishments on the mat, as well he should have been. They were two of my favorites and two of the best I ever coached. I'm sure they got their work ethic from him.
