Tina Bates 1971 ~ 2011 Salina, Utah - Our beloved mother, daughter and sister, Tina Denise Bates, age 39, of Salina, was tragically taken from us on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at her home inSalina. She was a dedicated mother, sister, daughter and friend. Tina was born August 9, 1971 in Granger, Utah, a daughter of Joseph Arnold and Sheradeen Ranay Eden Bates. She enjoyed camping, family get togethers, and being with her children and family. She successfully raised two great children and put her whole heart into everything that she did. Her caring and loving personality will be greatly missed. Tina is survived by her children: Danielle Olsen of Green River, Wyoming; Jacob Olsen of Salina; mother and step-father: Sheradeen and Reed Peterson of Salina; brother and sister: Sammy Bates of Aurora; Meriah Harper of Corinne; step-sister and step-brother: Brickell Johnson of Salina and Jeremy Peterson of Richfield; grandmother: Arthella Dalley of Tooele; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bates and her child-ren's father, Dave Olsen. A Celebration of the life of Tina, will be held at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main Street in Salina, where friends may visit with the family Wednesday afternoon, August 10, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. Cremation will follow and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
