BRITTNEY DRAKULICH Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 11, 2009.
Brittney Mangum Drakulich 1979 ~ 2009 Brittney Drakulich completed her earthly mission and returned to her Father's presence on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. She passed through the veil surrounded by her dear husband, adorable children and immediate family as she entered into eternal peace. Brittney was born on November 19, 1979 to goodly parents in Provo, Utah. She is the second of six children and was always the entertainer. She always loved children and began babysitting as soon as was allowed - she was loved so dearly by those she watched over that she was coined with the nickname "My Brittney" by the children. She had a beautiful voice and was never shy to share that talent either by way of a beautiful hymn or a fun Disney medley. Brittney graduated from Mountain View High School and earned an Associate Degree in Pre-School Education from Ricks College. She enjoyed her time teaching at Learning Dynamics. Brittney was sealed to her eternal companion Steven on July 21, 2000 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. They have three beautiful children who will proudly carry on the legacy of their incredible mother. In her time as a mother Britt was able to establish firm testimonies of our Heavenly Father's love and plan into each one of her children by way of an example of steadfastness and faith that has left us all in awe. Brittney has earned the peace that she feels and will be a ministering angel to her children and husband. She is survived by her husband Steven and three children Harmony, Brynn and Boston; her parents, Bart and Renae Mangum; her siblings Candace Larson (Michael), Kaleb Mangum (Kathryn), Hayley Johnson (Benjamin), Wesley Mangum (Leah) and Collin Mangum; her in-laws Steve and Denise Drakulich, Nicole Murphy (Ben) and Camille Brown (Briant); additionally she is loved by her grandparents, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends who she has influenced for good. We will all miss her so much and love her forever. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Saratoga Springs North Stake Center (Harvest Hills), 2256 North Providence Dr., Saratoga Springs, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the stake center and from 9:30am to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Orem City Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.serenicare.com Our thanks and love goes to Dr. Greg Litton, Dr. Michael Collins, Dr. Steven Scott, and Dr. Jay Clark and their staffs for their loving, compassionate care of Brittney over the past five and a half years. We also wish to thank IHC Hospice for their tender care during Brittney's last week on earth. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to any Far West Bank branch in the name of Steven Drakulich.

Steven, Harmony, Brynn and Boston-
I am truly sorry for your loss. I am so grateful to have known her the last two years. She was a Christ-like example of strength, faith, love and positivity. I want you to know that we love you and would love to help you in any way we can.
I did not get the news until late Friday and was unable to attend the viewing and funeral. Please forgive me. I wanted to be there for you and your family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Brittney was such an amazing example of Strength and Courage. She was the first to talk with me when my family first moved into the ward. I have since moved from that ward but have kept her in my prayers. I know that Heavenly Father blessed me for knowing her. We will continue to keep her and her family in our prayers.

Brittney was such a wonderful example of strength and courage! She was always sweet and kind when talking with others. I was in her ward a couple of years ago and she was the first person to come and introduce herself. We worked on clocks at enrichment. She was so funny and happy. I am so thankful to Heavenly Father for that experience because I truly needed it. Our prayers are now with her family, we are so thankful for the eternal blessings we have. What an amazing daughter of God!

Brittney was such a great mother, wife and human being. She was such a great example. I taught her girls dance and I was always amazed that with all of the trials the family went through the girls were never late and never missed a class. If everyone was as strong as Brittney the world would be a better place! My thoughts and prayers are with the family!

Dear Steven and Family..........My heart aches for you. I am so sorry for you loss. While Brittney is gone for now.....what a blessing that you have her forever. As a truely amazing human being, in so many ways, Brittney was a joy to know and without a doubt, she blessed a myriad of lives. Certainly my life is richly blessed because of having known her. It was an honor to help care for her. Brittney was an absolute inspiration to me as were her family and friends who demonstrated constantly such love, support and dedication to her. May you find the peace and comfort you need through the happiness that comes from precious memories and the hope of the eternities. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Love, Renelle Johnson RN
