My heart is broken to hear of Pete's death. He was my first and best photography teacher at Yellowstone. His gentle spirit and enthusiasm for images inspired me to continue. When I looked for his address to send a card and could not find it, I thought he might have moved. Instead, like my dearest husband, David Weber, he instead went to rest. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. He gave so much, and I wanted to thank him again. I loved his spirit and great willingness to share. He sent me a lovely photography book when my small book was published. It was a great act of love and inspiration and I shall keep it always. May his spirit comfort all who knew him, and especially his family,

Pete was the best second baseman ever to play for University High...and one of the nicest people I ever knew.
It is truly a sad day for me, but I take solace in knowing that God has properly greeted Pete...with a golf cart, new clubs, fair weather and 18 holes a day. RIP, buddy

Pete was a good guy and always a good golfer. I was a classmate from University High School in Bloomington, Indiana. So sorry to hear about his passing. My sympathies to his family.
