Jon Wilson Obituary
"Jonny Angel"
Jon passed away Tuesday April 16, 2013 in Taylorsville, Utah. Jon was born October 1, 1960 in American Fork, UT. to Jay B. And Patricia (Woodard) Wilson, attending schools in Tooele and Arizona. Jon and Cathy cherished their marriage and unwavering love for 20 years. He lovingly embraced Cathy's children as his own. Welcoming his role as father and grandpa. Jon celebrated 21 years of sobriety. A member of the Taylorsville 19th Ward and proudly served his country in the Armed Forces. A dedicated employee of Cabinetry by Karman in many capacities, earning awards and recognitions. He enjoyed the friendships and respect of his co-workers. A passionate coin collector known as "B4wemet". He loved music by "Alice Cooper", good coffee and long naps. Survived by wife, Cathy; parents, Jay and Pat Wilson; sister Linda Kopp (Danny Waltenbaugh); daughter, Charity and son; twin nephews,Todd and Travis Kopp; niece Heidi Richards and sister-in-law Patsy (Ted-deceased) Haws; step-children, Stacy (Mike) Rigby, Carly (Thomas) Hadden; seven grandchildren: Taylor, Sylence, Tonya, Justyn, Lynzi,Corbyn and Gabe....and the love of his aunts, uncles and cousins. A special good-bye from Tonya Love and Justyn Evelyn. "We will miss you Papa". Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held Monday, April 22, 2013 6-8:00 p.m. also at McDougal Funeral Home. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park.

I have worked with Jon at Karman for many years. So pleasant to work with and always willing to help you in anyway he can. My deepest sympathy to his family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Jon.

I worked with Jon for many years and always appreciated his wittiness and desire to get the job done correctly. He was a "go to" guy for his employer and his family. Jon always cared! Rest in Peace, Jon.

Another Guardian Angel has entered heaven. The memory that stands out about Jon is Halloween when he came to my house as the "unknown comic" and tried to convince me he was young enough to trick or treat. I was laughing so hard, I dumped the rest of the bowl in the pillow case.
