Patricia Fisher Obituary

1934 ~ 2013
Patricia Anne Axelsen Fisher passed away peacefully on November 29, 2013 after a tragic fall in her home. She was born on March 3, 1934 to Karl and Stella (Stringham) Axelsen. Pat married her sweetheart Chad Kimball Fisher on June 22, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. Her greatest attribute was her Christ like service to family, friends, and strangers.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, children Kimball (Mareen), Deborah (David Libby), Craig (Angie), and Kerry (Jean), 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, in-laws Marlene Fisher, Zoe Francis, Monte and Darlene Fisher, and sister Karlyn.
The services for our love, mother, and Nana will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 7th, at the LDS chapel located at 13006 South Boulder Street (about 1400 East) in Draper, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church. Not sure what to say?

We were very sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful wife. Both of you have been dear friends of ours for many years. You will always be remembered by our family because you were responsible for getting Bob to join the Church when you and Bob served in the US Army in Fort Huachuca Arizona in 1955.

Dear Chad and Family!

We were shocked to hear of Pat's passing. We are so very grateful that we took the time to stop and say hello last October when we were in town. It just goes to prove that we never know what is coming, so we should always pay attention to those little promptings. Pat was so good at that.

We have fond memories of square dancing together, a very memorable trip to Disneyland, not to mention all the little visits and activities we shared at church. There was wallpapering the nursery when we were expecting our first baby. And the chicken coop fiasco! So many good laughs and fun times.

May God be with you as you make the difficult adjustment of moving on without Pat's smiling face in your world on a daily basis.

We love you all.

I will miss her more than I can say. And Babe, the dog will miss her more than she can say...and she can't say because she's a dog. It was a privilege to know her.

Chad,
We also love Pat and we love you. We are so sorry for your loss but happy for heaven's gain. You were both so generous with our family. We didn't see her often, but when we did, it was if we had talked every day.

Dear Chad and Family,

We are sure going to miss such a sweet lady. Over the past 3 years, we endured some tragic losses of our own. Pat was so encouraging, lovingly, and brought sunshine when we felt such desperation and sadness. She was such a wonderful friend. We are really going to miss such a special spirit. May God bless all of you at this time and in the months to follow.

With our deepest love & sympathy,
