Please join us at a gathering of friends and family to "Celebrate the Life" of Greg Fowler at Red Butte Gardens, 300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City on Saturday afternoon August 2nd from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Gregory S. Fowler, age 65, died after a brave and exhausting battle with Parkinson's Disease. Greg simply decided that he had struggled long enough--he was tired. His only regret was having to leave alone his wife, love and true soul mate, Toi Lee.
Greg was born and grew up in Salt Lake City, attended Skyline High School and graduated from the University of Utah. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1969-1972. Professionally, he built his life around Peerless Beauty Supply Co., a third-generation, family-owned business, where he worked in various capacities and made many life-long friends. Ultimately, he would become the President of Peerless. In his spare time, Greg loved boating, water skiing, golf and travel. Greg was an avid sports enthusiast, including his loyal support of the Chicago Bears and Cubs and the Utah Jazz.
Greg is survived by his wife, Toi Lee Fowler, his parents, Hugh and Nancy Fowler, five siblings, Scott (Pearl), Susan (Chris), Robin (Danny), Tracy (Leilani) and Barry (Mary Catherine), and by cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.
Greg and his family wish to express their sincere gratitude for the love and support of the many friends and associates who made an effort to understand Parkinson's Disease and adjust along with Greg to the changes forced by this long and debilitating illness. Thank you.
In keeping with Greg's desires, there will be no funeral service. Following cremation, Greg's ashes will be scattered at a site of his choosing.
