This hit me hard today. I couldn't believe it. I instantly remembered the last time that I saw him, in January, I his quick smile, with a chuckle. He was limping from hurting himself on his treadmill. This is truly a loss. I will sincerely miss him as my doctor. God bless. - Cheryl Hannon

I knew and admired Dr. Moody. He taught me when I was a senior in Medical School. I did an 8 week clinical rotation in his practice in Provo, Utah in 1988. I will never forget how much he loved his patients and how much they loved him. He was a Man's Man. He never looked down on people. He even took me, a poor senior medical student to play golf at Riverside Country Club. I will never forget him. My prayers and sympathy to his family. Dr. Ben J. Howard DO, Draper, Utah.

Dr. Moody was one of a kind, a step ahead in the medicine of today. He had been my only Doctor since he opened his practice, years ago. I was impressed with the fact I would go to see him and walk out with a prescription for vitamins!. My sincere condolences to his family, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Moody's passing! He was the best Dr. I have ever been to!!! I forgot how many people I had told about him until they were all telling me how sorry they were to hear of his passing. I went to him after several bad experiences with other Drs. Soon he became my primary Physician. I know I will never find another Dr. quite like him... I also suggested that my husband go to him and he did and he really liked him too. We were just getting ready to have our son start going to him.. He is a wonderful mand and will be greatly missed . To his family I offer me deepest condolances. A talented and wonderful man has left the earth!

I was living in St. George when I saw a sign going up on a building with Dr. Moody's name on it and decided to call. His office staff instantly made an appointment and from that day on, he and they became not only our family doctor, but friends as well. I was in a car accident and I called and told him what had happened. We spoke for a few minutes and he asked me if I was hurt and where was I. When I told him I was at home, the doorbell rang and there was Dr. Moody. He wanted to make sure I was OK and took it from there. Never have I or my family had such a caring, genuinely down to earth doctor and friend. One day while I was waiting for him in one of his rooms, I could hear him on the phone talking loudly, obviously upset. When he came into my room, he apologized. He was on the phone with an insurance company and he was being told how much time he was "allowed" to spend with his patients. He told me no one is telling him how long to spend with his patients. He will take as much time as he wants and needs to take care of them. That's the kind of man he was. We will miss him so much. God has an angel on the other side. Condolences to his family.

I am so saddened by the loss of Dr. Moody. My condolences go out to his family- what a loss for them. As a patient I saw Dr. Moody just a few days before he passed and I have been his patient for several years. He was the best doctor I have ever known. He helped me as he helped so many people, to feel better. He always listened and went beyond normal expectations for a physician. He will be missed by so many in so any ways.

I was very saddened by the news of Robert's death.
I remember Robert for his adventurous spirit and intellectual capacity. We spent many hours discussing politics, business & doctrine.
I witnessed his passion for flying, first-hand, as his admiring passenger.
He spoke often of his love for his family, especially his wife Stacey.
I am grateful for the time spent with Robert and pray that his spirit and the blessings of heaven will be manifested to Stacey and his family, to comfort their broken hearts at this tender time.

To the family of Dr. Moody,
I am terribly sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and sibling. Dr. Moody was my "wellness" doctor, but he was so much more than that. I first started seeing him for hormone replacement, but when he found out I had rheumatoid arthritis he was always coming up with innovative therapies to help with some of the complications from the disease. He was a good listener and didn't mind spending as much time as you needed with him.
He was a funny, interesting, kind and caring person and I will miss him very much.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I am praying for God's grace, mercy and peace that surpasses our understanding as you grieve his passing.
Sincerely,
Diane Buhler

Robert was my mentor, my friend, and for six years, my father. He is the reason I went in to the medical field as a nurse. He was the witness at my wedding and danced the father-daughter dance with me. I'll never forget him, and the love and joy that surrounded our home for those six years.

We are so sad and shocked at his passing. My husband and I were patients of his for the last 5-6 years. There will never be a doctor like him. He was was genuinely concerned for our health and well being. He did more for us than any doctor has ever done.
I will never forget the time when my husband called him late at night (around 10:30 pm) to ask for his help because I really wasn't feeing well.
He left his home to come visit me to make sure I was okay. He found out at that time that I'm a piano teacher and then played the piano for me before he left to cheer me up. I will never, ever forget that! I will always be grateful to him for taking such good care of us over the years. My love and prayers go out to you. THANK YOU for sharing him with us. He will be greatly missed!

Dr. Moody was my personal physician and a remarkable friend. He helped me through a difficult time in my life. It was always a pleasure to see him, even as a patient. He was charming and generous with his time and spirit. I knew of his love of flying and his love of music, which I shared. He certainly was a youthful 69 year old. My sympathies to his family at this terribly sad time.

Dr. Robert Moody was a deeply caring physician and a good friend. When I first met him, decades ago, I had a case of double pneumonia and three dislocated ribs. I had been told by a prior physician to go home and take some cough medicine. He said, "let's get you well." It was in his nature to make people well. He looked at each of us as a person, not just a patient. Dr. Moody delivered our son Tanner. We joked that it was his musical influence that led Tanner to be a musician. Years passed, he moved on from family medicine, but continued to be friend and a resource for me as a medical journalist. He was, at heart, a teacher as well as a physician and wanted everyone to understand medicine, their bodies, and yes, how to "be well". I learned of his passing while watching the news, while wearing a sweater I purchased from Stacey's boutique. I can't tell you how saddened I was to learn that this vibrant and gentle soul had passed from our world. I am grateful to have known him. Heaven got a good one. I send my deepest condolences to his family. You are in my prayers. With Affection, Barb Smith
