Syvia, You've been on my mind this week and then I came across this today and realized why. I want you to know you're in my prayers. I hope we talk soon--I love you and wish I could be there to support you tomorrow. Emily Milner

I had the privilege of knowing Barbara many years ago. We were both involved with music and I gained encouragement and inspiration from knowing her and learning from her knowledge and experience.
I have many cherished memories of her and her love and accomplishments in music.

Barbara, you were the best mom any boy ever had. Sweet, kind, thoughtful, loving, and always teaching others better ways to make the lives easier. Mom, you will be missed. You touched more lives than you realize. Released from this mortal existence you are now free to traverse your eternal path without any hardship or difficulties. May God bless you in everything you do. I know he will. Keep playing Chopin forever. Your son, Peter
