LaJune Leishman Obituary
Richfield, UT-LaJune Gunhild Bogh Leishman, 87, passed away March 12, 2015 in Manti. The daughter of Hans Christian Hansen and Nellie May Lyman Bogh, she was born on May 11, 1927 in Mayfield, Utah.
The family lived in Mayfield. LaJune attended Manti High School, Snow College and Utah State Agricultural College where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Arts and Sciences. She became an English teacher and librarian.
LaJune married Lynn Garrett Leishman on November 19, 1954 in the Manti Temple. They have two children, Jim Bogh Leishman and Andrea Leishman Henrie.
She is survived by her children: Jim Leishman and Andrea (George) Henrie; grandchildren: Jamie Lynn Leishman, Shelby and Shayna Leishman, Garrett (Ainzley) Henrie, Jayden Henrie, Sara June Henrie and Sydnee Ann Henrie; sister, Amy.
LaJune was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: Nellie, Roy, Cleo, Nels, Alice, Clara, Shirley, Marvin, Clark, and their spouses.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 7th Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield and Wednesday at the ward chapel from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. LaJune was a gentle and compassionate lady. She was a good friend,neighbor, Aunt and a great mother and grandmother. She will be missed by so many people whose lives she touched.
