Camille Parke Obituary

Camille Gayle Davis Parke, 58, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center.

She was born on October 14, 1951 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Lester Levi and Deliah Joy Davis. She was a Registered Oncology Nurse for the St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, California for 25 years. After her retirement she moved to Magnolia where she cared for her father and they worked side by side daily in his day lily garden. She was a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ in Magnolia where she loved her Sunday morning ladies bible class and listening to church singing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John Davis, and a grandson, Hunter Jade Allen Adcox.

Camille is survived by her two sons, Christopher Allen Adcox and his wife Vicki of Smithville, Tennessee, Charles Mitchell Adcox and his wife Shannon of Brenton, Arkansas; two daughters, Marcie Joy Shumaker and husband Alan of Thompson Station, Tennessee, Heather Lynn Parke of Hollywood, California; two brothers, Stuart Davis and his wife Marty and Thomas Guy Davis both of Magnolia, Arkansas; two sisters, Kathleen Dennin and husband Ralph of Huron, South Dakota, Lindalyn Luna and husband David Nacogdoches, Texas; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; special friend, Gary Hester of Magnolia; and her orange cat, General George Armstrong Custer Patton.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2010 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 2289, Magnolia, Arkansas 71754. www.lewisfuneralhome.biz
